I got to shoot my new Mohawk yesterday evening and its awsome! Smooth drawing,no handshock, and very quick. She was launching the heaviest arrows I have with authority ( 560gr. cedars ). I just can't quit looking at those bamboo limbs, they are just beautiful! I've had bows with bamboo cores with a veneer over top, but never under clear glass. I really like it!
Well I'm going to try to add pix. Vince does some great work. Thanks Vince.   :wavey:

Yep, good bows them 'Hawks. The finish is amazing.I'm destroying the vitals on my 3-D deer target with this bow. I think I'm going to order some tapered cedars for mine. Can't get anymore Traditional then that a 'Hawk and cedars.Enjoy!

I'm having a heck of a time posting these pix. That one is probably to big. I thought I had sized down.

Thanks Rob. I will try to get the rest of my pix posted. I've been gone for a couple days, had to go to Martinsville, IN on storm restoration. They had 10-12 inches of rain in about 5-6 hours, what a mess water everywhere. That flat to rolling land theres no place for all that water to go!

I shot mine through a chrono the other day.  I only got two shots to register out of about 20.  There was something wrong with the chrono.  The numbers I got were 159 and 160.  The bow is 54@30" with a 660 grain arrow.  I would suspect this to be correct, but I have chronoed every bow I have had and how much it drops at 30 yards tells me this bow is faster than that.  When I get a chance I will take it to the place that I have chronoed my other bows.  Of course 160 fps with a 12.22 grains per pound ai'nt to bad!
It's not the arrival, it's the journey.

I own one of vince's takedowns and I would concur with the comments about great speed, forgiving to shoot and just hard to put down. By far my favorite D long bow. Great quality and a fair price.
