Well, after twenty years of membership on this and two other traditional sites, I'm taking a moment to say thank you to all my friends. Over the years I have had many kindnesses extended to me and I'd like to think they were returned in kind in one form or another. We have all been given an expiration date in life but it seems mine has come due earlier than I expected. After several months of dr. visits and numerous tests the verdict is in, ALS. This is a disease for which there is no cure or treatment to speak of. I 'm not at all bitter about the diagnosis, perhaps disappointed but through it all I feel mostly blessed for all that God has provided in the way of my faith, family and the good friends. Thank you all once again for your friendship, guidance, advice and oh, some really good deals on archery equipment. Shoot straight and aim small, Flatshooter

The Lord understands and will be with you all the way.  Trust and rest in His peace.  Prayers for you my friend.
The years accumulate on old friendships like tree rings, during which time a kind of unspoken care and loyalty accrue between men.

I pray for you, and my younger brother that has ALS. Not enough research is being done for this disease and several others that affects so many.

So sorry to hear of your diagnosis and rapid progression.  Have looked into peptides as a remedy?  They are miraculous in healing.  Prayers for you.

There's a time for everything in life, and this seems to be my time to start saying goodbye to a lot of old friends.  I watched my folks pass through this period for a few years, and then finally it was time to say goodbye to them too.  So goodbye old friend!  Maybe we'll meet again someday.

Not all those who wander are lost, some are just looking for lost arrows.
