I'll be there sometime tomorrow afternoon

We arrived Monday. Looks like the stormy weather is past us now. Great forecast from here through the weekend. We'll be set up today. Trails open today, vendors will be open tomorrow. Lots of things to do. Great facilities. 1st time at this location. Looks very promising, what a great place. Come by and say hello. Compton is a great organization. They do a lot for our youth. They're our future. Should be a great time. Hope you can make it.

I'll be there tomorrow morning - the new location is only a couple hours from me now, so I hope this place works out for everyone involved.

I plan to be there Friday and Saturday. It will be the first shoot I have been able to attend this year due to some health issues my wife has had that I needed to stay close to home for a while.

Looking forward to some pics of the rendezvous this year at the new venue...!

Too many bows to list, and so many more I want to try!  Keep the wind in your face, and your broadheads sharp.

I spent two days there and enjoyed it, but I much preferred the old site at Berrien Springs.  It was much more spread out here and there were some things that need to be worked out for next year.  There weren't any porta johns close to the vendor areas and the one place where you got food did not have enough tables for the crowd size that was there.  The turn-out looked to be very good and there were lots of vendors.  I'm sure that such kinks will be addressed for next year.  I had a great time meeting Nathan Cochran the new owner of Howard Hill Archery.  He has been a trad shooter since he was 10 years old and loves the tradition of Howard Hill Archery.  His craftsmanship on the bows he had was outstanding as well as the back quivers and other goods like Craig always carried.  I think the Hill name is in good hands of a guy who dearly wants to keep the tradition alive and thriving.

????    There were 6 Porta Potties not more than 20 yards from the main entrance to the vendor tent.

I think he meant near the food "vendors".

Except that's not what he said.    He clearly stated there were no porta potties next to the vendor tents.   That's not even remotely true.  There was a frickin row of them 20 yds from the main vendor tent.

We really had a great time. The folks at the new venue worked HARD to make it a success. Gene Hopkins led the Compton team.... thought everything was perfect. Alonger drive for us, but worth every mile.

I like this venue better than Berrian Springs. The courses and shower facilities were better for one. I'm sure it will only get better in time. It was nice talking to Bama who started this thread

As one of the people who set the courses at the old venue I thought the targets didn't offer a challenge, to wide open!
All said I think the new venue will work out just fine.
The folks in Indiana did a fine job for there first try!
