A friend whose daughter wants to get into archery asked me to build her a bow for her college graduation. He bought the supplies and I gifted the labor.
The riser is dyed Curley maple and black dymondwood.  38#@64". Very sweet shooter!
My first bow off of the Kennym takedown form. I have had the template for several years but never got around to making the form.

If he did all he could do;
what did he do that was all that he did?

Thanks! I applied a coat of dark brown leather dye, sanded most of it off with 220 after it dried, then did it again. Then I applied a coat of timber brown leather dye. Let it dry for a few weeks then sprayed thunderbird satin.
