With any type finish you use, you'll find that the high gloss material has more solids and give you a better build up. Also... you need not use a dulling agent, or buy satin finish to get a low gloss result. Higher air pressure, with  lower flow rate can produce a very nice Matte finish. 

The secret is in adjusting  your reducer and spray distance as well as the pressure.
This can be done with high gloss Krystal too.
