Who is the best/worst manufacturer of Black Hunter bows? Pro and cons.
I need an lightweight inexpensive bow to rehab shoulder.

McDave

Not a manufacturer of Black Hunter bows, but probably your best bet for quality would be Big Jim, since he inspects all the Black Hunter bows he sells, and would no doubt reject any that had defects.

Not all those who wander are lost, some are just looking for lost arrows.  Tolkien (in part)

I have a Top Archery 60" laminated recurve bow.  I purchased a 35lb bow which measured 38lb@28" on my scale.  The bow came with a string for a 58" bow.  I shoot off the shelf and think the radius from shelf to riser could be smaller, but shoots fine.  I think the bow looks OK and the fit and finish is good for a $99 bow.

The one I would go with having owned a BH in the past would be the Toparchery Warden 1.0, its a 60" take down recurve. Jeff Phillips recently did a good video on YT about it. I think the price was around $100 plus or minus. Might be just the ticket for a rehab bow.. Good luck!

Consider a used bow.  If you can find one at a good price you can resell it with minimal money loss after your rehab is done.
