Hey all, got lucky on a cancellation for Stickflingers this May! I'll be on stand the week of May 17th.

This will be my second time up with Ryan & crew.

I wrote about my last trip up there I had a phenomenal chance at what I believe to be a low to mid 6' chocolate color-just peeked & hit shoulder, bear was none the wiser.

Still trying for my first animal with a stick bow, unfortunately I hit my safety harness earlier this week when shooting at a doe.

This time WILL be different, excited to get back up to Canada.

Love to chat with the other hunters that will be there, if you all see this

I'm green with envy!!! (lol)

Honestly, in almost 50 years of travel, I consider Stickflingers one of the absolute best adventures I have ever went on. As you already know, the place is a bear factory with great guides and culture.

Hopefully, you will be like me on my second trip; I killed the bear of my dreams.

Good luck!!!!!!

Im hunting Manitoba again this spring. I started hunting there in 1981 Manitoba is bear heaven .  I took a little vacation from bear hunting but have started again . Last year I took my grandson and he killed a nice bear with his longbow , I never seen anybody so bad with the shakes it was a lot more fun than shooting myself. Im going with T&T outfitters its only a 4 hour drive from my place .

I'll be there two weeks after you. I got a bear on my last trip there. This time I will be looking for a BIG one. I wish you luck up there. It is a great place. Leave a big one for me.
