Hello All.
I hope I'm in the right area. If not, please move this post to where it is best. I have a 35 lb. longbow and want to set it up for hunting.  Which arrow and components would you suggest. I will shoot aluminum arrows.  I was thinking either a 1815 or 1916.  I have a 28 1/2 inch draw. I prefer a 2 blade broadhead.  After that I'm open for suggestions. What weight broadhead?  Which broadhead? Which arrow? What length feathers?  I'm open to all suggestions.  Thanks to all.  God Bless.  Bob

Either will probably work.  I'lean toward the 1916, cut to about 29 1/2 inches BOP for your 28 1/2-inch draw.  Zwickey eskimos (125 grain) or eskalites (110 grin) are good 2-blade heads.  There are lots of others out there.  Something in the 110 to 140-150 grain range will work.  Feather length is a personal preference.  I shot three 5-inch feathers for years.  I'm now shooting 4, four-inch feathers.

Orion,
Thanks very much.  God Bless.  Bob

I shoot 1816's with 200 grain points out of my 35# longbow but my arrows and draw are shorter than yours. Therefore I would go with the 1916's or if you want a much heavier arrow 1820's would be my choice.

If you want a lighter arrow 2013's may work for you, too.

Obviously lots of variables here such as center shot, release, etc. but 1916's tune well out of my 42# longbow with 150 grain heads.  I draw 29, so pulling closer to 44#.  If you try 1916's, I would start with them full length.
