Arrow wraps?

Should I use an arrow wrap when I'm fletching some aluminums? Fletched one up last night quick cause I couldn't take it an wanted to shoot it. I like the way the aluminums shoot.

I use wraps on aluminum and wood. They remove easily with a heat gun which makes refletching a snap. Removing a wrap from a woodie will remove the finish, easily fixable with a rattle can. Much easier option than removing quills from wood, IMO.

I've always used wraps on aluminum. At the moment I'm using some without the wraps due to the wrap weight marginally increasing the dynamic spine by virtue of its location at the rear of the arrow. I only mention that because the aluminum arrow requires a bit more prep when gluing feathers directly to the tube.

The wraps sure do make feathers stick so much easier on aluminum; but there is absoulutely no need for the wraps unless you want them.

One stringer makes great wraps I have my logo on mine and have them in different colors I even had a howling coyote on my sons wraps he likes to hunt coyotes .

I also like Onestringer's wraps and wrap aluminum and carbon.  I put 2 wraps on before bare shaft tuning to try to get closer to the spine of a wrapped & fletched arrow.

I'm a big fan of reflective wraps on my aluminum arrows. I think they look good, are easy to install and fletch on.

I do like to turn them red as well.

I use wraps. I used to dip but for a couple of reasons including the cost of Bohning paints these days I stopped. I did spray carbons and woods but if it's to hot out the paint dries before it flows out. I buy wraps from One Stringer as well as cut my own. I also crest my own. I prep the aluminum and carbon shafts by wiping down with Acetone. I use a mouse pad to roll them on. I use Fletch Tite glue or Gorilla SG in blue cap bottle to fletch.

M60 - Are the arrows in your picture hand crested, or are those custom wraps? They look great!
