compton shoot

what happened to the compton shoot at Berrien springs? I haven't seen much about it on the site.

Compton's was very well attended in spite of the warm temps. There were 922 paid shooters, 285 camp sites,sold. A good time was had by all.

Attended Compton for first time and had a booth for Tradtracker.   Hot but had a super time.  Met Barry Wensel, Mike Mitten, Randy Cooling, and a bunch of other super folks.    Berrien Springs was a great venue and glad to have ecperienced it but its great that next year will be 4 hours closer.

They have moved it another 2.5 hours away from us so this was our last trip.

My daughter and I flew down for Compton from Fairbanks, Alaska.  We had a great time!  Alaska Airlines mileage tickets !  We got an Air-B-n-B nearby and were able to escape the heat/weather, but we missed the ambience of camping out like we did in the past, when we drove in from IL.
