Donato Milesi - Longbows
« on: April 14, 2025, 05:24:39 PM »
Have any of you Tradgangers ever ordered a Hill style longbow from Donato Milesi in Italy?
Nate Steen talks about him in his blog. His bow making lineage goes back to John Schulze, and by all accounts he makes a quality longbow true to the vision of Howard Hill. I found his web page, but it is all in Italian. From what I can cypher, his bows are in the $700-$1000 range when I do the Euro conversion. I have no idea how I would go about placing an order working out all the details - woods, glass color, length, weight.....

Is there a number that is listed for you to try to call him? I have never heard of him personally.
