ASTB Charity Auction Hunt #2

The Alabama Society of Traditional Bowmen is auctioning a second Alabama rut hunt. This one is for one hunter with traditional bows only and will be held in January of 2026. The winner will hunt with Jason Samkowiak and Steve Turay on 650 acres in Montgomery County, Alabama. The hunt will be for three days and includes meal, lodging, a buck and a doe. The auction will be held on April 12 at our annual Children’s of Alabama Hospital fund raising shoot. Its a great opportunity to hunt after seasons have ended in most states and a great cause.

Both are 3 day hunts with food, stands, and lodging in Montgomery County Alabama   
Both will be hosted by myself and Steve Turay.   We can pick hunters up at Montgomery Regional Airport if needed.
One hunt is for two people and can be scheduled from October 15 to February 15.
The other is for one person who will be joined by podcaster and longbow hunter Jason Samkowiak.   It will be arranged with Jason during the month of January.
100% of proceeds go to Childrens of Alabama Hospital.
We have great properties and will do everything possible to make these hunts a memorable experience.
Alabama nonresident licenses are 10-Day Trip - $240.40
3-Day Trip- $169.55

Will Foster of Foster‘s taxidermy in Montgomery has generally donated free skull mounts to anyone bagging bucks on either of these hunts

We will be taking online bids for this hunt until 12 o’clock noon on Saturday for 12. The live auction will be at 5 o’clock, and the winners will be announced as soon as it’s complete
