dbeaver. I like the bend of that one. Could we have some specs? Lenght, taper rate, tip wedges.

.003 forward taper
No wedges
Uniform sweep in limbs no flat spots

And truly its my version of Kenny's form so any design question you can ask Mr. McKenzie

I got a beautiful persimmon selfbow from Kyle Roberts today.  It is stunning, Kyle!  Thanks so much.  I couldn't wait to get a picture but don't have time to shoot it tonight.  Thanks  to all who continue to participate and run this swap.  It's tons of fun.  I am progressing somewhat slowly on mine but Kyle has inspired me to get it done. That really does look nice Kyle. Great bend. You guys that build these self bows are real craftsmen.

dbeaver

Well done Kyle, ill be on the lookout for persimmon as im scouting the woods for staves this year

dbeaver

Works for me, hope my victim will find the same experience

Grip carved in and the riser is all carved and set. Just to shape the tips and get the finer work done before finish.  Happy to hold up the tail end of this swap.

Against better judgement, I shipped USPS and it hasn't freakin moved for 4 days. Last time with that bunch... :deadhorse:
Stay sharp, Kenny.

Mine was supposed to be there yesterday but it took 3 days to go to the east coast of FL just to come back and go west of me. By the way the east coast of FL is only 5 hours drive. Once again USPS. When it says out for delivery, I will let you guys know.

Thats crazy, I've always had good luck with USPS. I think the bow I shipped you was 36hrs. So that must mean, I'm not getting a Kenny Bow? Dang it...........

I guess there is still hope that I will.

Crooked Stic

I don't have faith in USPS when shipping a one piece unless it is in a wooden box or carpet tube I still have a $1400 dollar claim at large over 2 years.

High on Archery.

It just means it went to KC and sat for 3 days, then went to Chicago for some reason???
Stay sharp, Kenny.

Does that mean it was supposed to head south(Florida) not north?? :biglaugh:

kennym

Not sure where it is headed, just got notice it's in Dallas now...

Priority is a joke and don't even think about Ground Advantage with them...
Stay sharp, Kenny.
