I handled a Hoyt Gamemaster II recently and really fell in love with the grip.  How do you make this bow accept ILF limbs?  I couldn't help but think how sweet this bow would be with some foam cored carbon backed ILF limbs from Mr. Bob Morrison.  Once the bow is fitted for the limbs how do you determine which limbs to get for a certain length and poundage?  Anyone know if you could buy just a Gamemaster II riser?  Thank you...Mike

Yes. you can buy just the riser.  I have had two of them.  If you buy the limbs from LAS, they will supply the necessary bushings for the ILF limbs.  If not, there are directions on the internet to make your own, which is what I did.  It's very easy to push out the ILF fittings, and push in the pins required.  A vice, small arbor press, or wooden dowels the right size to tap out/in the fittings. Lee at Lancaster can tell you approximate weight add or subtract for different length & make of limbs. I used medium Samick Extreme carbon/foam limbs on my last GM II riser, and it made an awesome bow. Bill G.

Lancaster sells conversion busings, as does Dave Sosa (DAS). Dave also sells some anti-vibration pads for gamemaster risers, which I've heard cut down on not only vibration, but noise as well. If I'm not mistaken, they're the same type of limb pads he uses on the DAS/Dalaa bows.

I have a set of Hoyt Vector ILF limbs on my Gamemaster, it turned a good bow into a GREAT bow!
