Riverwolf highlights of 2021-2022 season....
« on: August 03, 2022, 08:38:24 AM »
Just a visual of some of my 2021-2022 season....like many , my sightings were low compared to yrs ago. Yet , slightly higher than the previous....

I'll try and share the view...and brief discription without going "story-book" on you ;^)))
From tuning, building arrows, year round practice , scouting, to the actual hunts........I'll let the pictures tell the story.
Hope you enjoy a glimpse of my 2021-2022 season........

...many sightings over the course of the year.  A little forky got a pass serveral times over the season in hope of a buck carrying more steaks ;).... that just didn't play out for me.  but...I sure did enjoy watching nature and her ways......It's a beautiful thing.

......I had several bucks posturing ...chasing ...and bedding near me. A few I spent 7-8 hours watching bed down throughout the day at "close range" , just "out" of range ;)Front seat to animal behavior a little beyond that which one reads of ....teachings beyond measure. Can you spot the buck ?  I had this guy within 30 yrds for several hours...until....another hunter decided to take a walkabout ....right to my stand....putting a wrench in the play.

...some of those trials and tribulations of which I speak;)

...and so , the sun sets on another deer season.

...on to other things to hunt. In the tangles that draw blood of the hunter more often than the hunted. A  fresh dusting for track be a blessing .......

A fine deer and rabbit.
I do think rabbit hunting with a bow can be a bigger challenge than deer hunting sometimes.
I can afford to shoot most any bow I like.  And I like Primal Tech bows.
