Now dont get me wrong, I LOVE building and shooting woodies. I have recently started shooting carbons, and I LOVE their durability(especially when footed fore and aft with aluminum). Im thinking of getting some soon to set up for the fall season. I am leaning towards CE heritage. I have two sets of limbs for my LB. 45@28, and 56@28. I draw almost exactly 28.
Is there an arrow out there that I can use with both sets, or is that just wishful thinking? Would it be easy if it is possible by changing point weight, or would two sets of arrows be better?
Thanks in advance.

Jamie, I'm far from an expert on all the different carbons out there, but I just got a few Arrow Dynamics Trad Lites from a guy here on the Gang.  I made up some 600gr arrows w/ 250gr up front.  In the last few days, I have shot these through three longbows and two recurves, ranging from 60# to 45#, and they seem to fly really well out of everything.  I would play around w/ weight if I were going to shoot through them all, but they seem to be pretty forgiving.

Having said that,  I've also shot CX250's through a number of bows from 60-50# and had good luck (all cut past center) so there's a good chance you would have luck with the Heritage as well...

Did that help, or muddy the water?

Ya can use the 150s but ya will need 300 plus grains up front for those 45# limbs, the 56#ers ya can get away with 29.5" arrow and 175 up front. If ya want a couple 150's to play with let me know. I can take a ride down next weekend and drop them off and shoot a turkey!  :bigsmyl:  Shawn

Thanks Shawn. You have a PM, and I have three 150s that shoot "decently" with 250 up front. They have aluminum inserts which I want to replace, and they are almost too short.
Im thinking one shaft with different weights for each limbs. Im only going to be hunting one set at a time...
