I need to redo the form, after all it has one bow off it... LOL

Need to add a bit of reflex to give a bit more preload.

This one will go to a kid anyway. Being that short I didn't know exactly what to expect for weight. Didn't want an 80 # er

Bending good but about out of draw close to 90 degrees.

It went 29 but not 30 , but on this light a bow it may not show stack point it would have on a hunting weight. :saywhat:

Looking good Kenny.

I originally built my shorty form with the intention of 52”, but got scared and ended up building a 54” off of it.

Good looking bow, Kenny.   If you want someone to store that bow for you, I'd be happy to oblige -- I like 'em short and low weight!

I want to do a shortie one day. I shot a Supermag the other day and loved it!.
The guy had a 30" draw. I thought it was going to be horrible.

He collects Bear bows and he says they are his favorite for hunting.

He did say that he has let more go than he has kept in the 48" versions.  He claims they are not all good and smooth like the one he has. When he runs across one like that he keeps it.

I only have a 27" draw, so works for me!

Still developing the bow, sucks to build form after form, but you gotta get what you want. :saywhat: I'll give you a template whan I like the bow.  Will wait to draw plans up til I'm satisfied... :)

Kenny...  When making first-offs I like making three piece bows first...  It gives you more options like changing limb angles using shims or different risers...  You can use a topless form which is easy to make... The forms are easier to modify... After that you can convert the design to a one piece bow...

   Just my two cents...

How long is the riser ?
May need to shorten it a bit for more draw length.

Well, cold arse snap is about over, jewelry boxes are done and gone, so will be back to this one this weekend I'm thinkin .

Hate to burn shop propane on nonprofit ventures...

My dust collector moves a lot of warm air outside when I run it. So I avoid it when it's 0 outside, because that's what replaces the warm air sucked out!   :o
