Bought a cheap, low poundage bow off eBay to work on my form, it needed a new paint job. Few hours later and it's ready to go. Super easy and effective, looks really close to the Sitka as well. I've done this bow and my lone wolf this way as well. [attachment=2,msg2973352][attachment=4,msg2973352]

Does look good!  How'd ya do it?

Primer grey, brown, tan, and white. Paint whatever it is solid with the primer. Then get you a shower loofah, spray your other colors on a paper plate and just dab the loofah in it, then on the item using light pressure.  Experiment with different angles on the loofah to get different effects.  start dabbing first with brown, then tan, and finally white. After it dries I put a few coats of matte clear coat on it.

TIM B

You did good pilgrim!
Thanks for the tips - I'm sure others will appreciate as well.

Looks great! I like to do my own camo jobs too.

Here's the finished product. Added a matching Flemish twist string and a bear hair rest. Blends in really good in a tree from a deers perspective.[attachment=1][attachment=2][attachment=3]

Looks good.  Appreciate the tutorial as well.
I can afford to shoot most any bow I like.  And I like Primal Tech bows.

Looks good but you better tie a line from you to your bow. I wouldn't lay it down or lean it anywhere.

Now that is funny - but a good point!

Reminds me when I lost my iPhone out in the woods near my house - of course it was in a camo case.  Needed to use find my iPhone to find it in the woods.  Thought I would never find it.

Nice job!
Southpaws are naturally more artistic...because they use the right side of their brain.
As stated before, be careful where you lean it or lay it down.

Hopefully very vibrant color arrows will fix that dilemma
