Played with my new Arrow Master today after work.

easy to get arrows out of quickly.

This is the stalking strap that works great for when you have to crawl. I just hooked it to my belt loop.

hangs good when shooting - don't even know it's there. Went through the brush great when I went scouting for turkeys too. I think Rod has a winner!   :)

Looks good Denny. Is the strap padded and/or wider at the shoulder?

Ian, very quiet. The shell is Buck Suede and there is a band of fleece inside where the feathers rest. The side puts pressure against the shafts like a good back quiver and there is 1 1/2" foam in the bottom.

David, the strap is the same size at the shoulder. Fully loaded my quiver weighs 2 1/2 pounds. It doesn't cut in at all and slides to different positions easily.

Terry Green

Dave, along with what Denny said....there aint enough weight to need a wider or padded shoulder strap....but I bet you could add one easily if you wanted.

I've been using the Arrow Master for about 6 months now, and I like it a lot.  If you need more arrows that a bow quiver will tote, this is a dandy way to tote em....can't add much more than Denny already has.

Denny is there also some type of protective end cap that the foam is in?  How well do the arrows stay in?  I really like this style of quiver but my simmons one sure is noisy.

They stay in really well for me....as the foam in the bottom hugs the Bheads really well, and I've waited for them to slide out several times when I was crawling around, but they never did.

Thanks Terry, other than the foam is there something on the end that would protect you from a broadhead?

Terry Green

Yeah...I think its a PVC cap or something cause its not just in the bottom if I remember, but it comes up the sides as well.  If Denny don't know Rod could tell ya.

Looks good Denny, and by the looks at that second photo, you will be able to sneak out of the house easier without Marie seeing you.

Drew

It looks like the arrows are covered from the top is that correct?

Also does it come with anything to cover the hole where you pull your arrows out form the side?

Thanks, for the info...

SHOOTO8S

Arrowslinger...yes theres a 3''long polypropylene safety cap, with an 1 1/2'' foam insert for broadhead retention

Drew.... the Arrowmaster can be used with the Storm cap in place for a closed end or without for those bluebird days afield. No cover for the arrow slot, but personally I never minded my shafts getting a little wet(just as long as my fletching remained dry)...The Arrowmaster does have a carbon drain tube for those days ya get caught in a shower...or just want to go huntin and dont mind getting a little wet    :D

Carbon drain tube :

Thanks to Terry and Denny the Arrowmaster got another thoughly field tested season...and Terry was the first to notice a slight feather noise from the fletch end, which resulted in the addition of a fleece band and a totally quiet quiver. Thanks guys!    :notworthy:

Im seriously liking the looks of that quiver! I tried hunting with a back quiver, a bow quiver and a home made tube(PVC-heavy but kept my arrows quiet and protected). That seems to have the positive features of all three.
That seems to be the best design I have seen so far....as far as hunting/stalking anyway.
Any critical feedback whatsoever, or are you guys hooked?

Terry Green

ishi,

I don't have any negative feed back...I'll probably still use a bow quiver when need be, and the Arrow Master when need be.

Another thing I like about the Arrow Master is I can take it off and leave it behind for the final stalk if need be....with an arrow on the shelf of course.    :D
