Good luck, I once found a gut shot buck still alive after 20 hours and was able to get a finishing arrow in him. Hopefully your string tracker is still in him, that can help. Just go slow and use binos ... really hope the return boat ride is with a buck in the boat

Always a somber feeling but it happens eventually if we hunt long enough. I've said it before and it bears repeating, Randy is the hardest working and most persistent hunter I know.
