Where do you guys buy your pre-spined wooden shafts from? And what type of wood would you guys recommend for cheap and tough arrows?

Thanks.  :D

I have bought shafts from 3 Rivers, Kustom King, Hildebrands and other places I can't recall.  I have bought a combination of POC, Sitka Spruce, and Fir from from above and shafts were of decent quality or better.  I have been using POC shafts tipped with judos for stump shooting and have only broken one of them so far.  The other shafts haven't held up as well so for me I say POC is the toughest.

The last few dozen shafts have been from Raptor archery and are spruce.  They were the best I've ever had for spine match and weight.

They are much tougher then POC.

Give poplar a try, I bought some from Dennis for my daughter and they were nice shafts that made some good arrows. Dennis is a sponsor here.
