Sorry, snag find it hard to believe and they spine 54#s with 14" centers not 13" centers as all mine spine around 70#s with 13" centers. Mine hit exactly the same spot at 20 yards bareshaft as they do fletched and I shoot 54-56#s and a 29.5" 150 with 175 up front. What ever works for ya, but me thinks something is wrong there. Shawn

I just report what I see Shawn. Hoping to learn as I go along.  The CE 150 have a deflection of .487 and on the AMO spine chart they show .482 at 54#. Just going by what I see. If it is wrong I would like to know.

If it ain 't broke, don't fix it Snag! Sounds like a winning combinaton. Man what I wouldn't do for a longer draw length  :banghead:

The AMO chart is based on 14" centers is all, we trad guys used to or most still do base them on 13" centers, basically support the arrow at 26" and than split in two, hang weight at that point, if ya had a spine tester and did it that way, you would see over 70#s for them. That is how wood is done, I bet you bow would shoot a 60-65# woodie or even a tad more. Shawn

Snag, What you have found is close to what I get with my bows. I have R/D LB's 50-55@28 and they like cx150's 28.5" 125gr pt. If I shoot the 250's they are 28.5" 175gr pt and 50gr insert. I think that the way you shoot has alot to do with it. Steve

I hope you are right Shawn. I have some Acme cedars coming that are 65-70# that I hope I can make work with this bow also.

The 150gr would probably be ok. You start loading up the tip with the 150s and they will probably start flying weak. Might have to cut the shafts down with the added weight. You would have to bareshaft them and see.  What do you think Shawn?
