I have always shot longbows. I guess I could never get past the noise coming from the limb slap. The only recurve that has ever appealed to me is the Schafer one piece. Does anyone have any pictures of one piece bows that they could share? Thanks!

varmint

Oh no!!!!!

Do I see a stable of recurves next now??

Well you never know..... You think if I called their shop they could send me some pictures? Not really any good ones one the site. (Not of the one piece bows)

SERGIO VENNERI

Scott; tried to email you some pics! Didn't work. Don't know how to post pics . Sorry!

One more thing Mike, I think I have cleared out most of the longbows except the Dwyers and one pronghorn. LOL I really want to shoot a one piece Schafer. I shot at TD at the 3/d shoot this weekend. The guy didn't have it tuned worth a crap but it did shoot smooth and was very pretty.

Thanks for all the pictures. It really helps when you are trying to decide what to order.

varmint

What to order!!

Oh oh..........it has begun.........again.

Have you made a decision on what to order??

My 3pc longbow that will be ready late Oct/early Nov is walnut dymondwood limbs w/clear glass, walnut actionwood riser to match, checkered grip(of course),and antler tip overlays......oh yeah, and antler burr limb bolts.Gonna be 62" and #53 @ 28".

There's a 10 month wait right now,and I'm only 2 months thru it,it's killin me!!Glad I was lucky enough to run into a 2pc silvertip longbow to keep me until mine's finished. It's 66" and #52 @ 29".Rosewood actionwood riser, dymondwood limbs with zebrawood vaneers under clear glass.Absolutley love shooting that bow!!

Wanted a t/d for travelling,so now I have a 2pc with the 3pc on order............might have to go ahead and order a 1pc just to round out the stable, even tho I already have a few 1pc longbows.I think it'd be neat to have one of each Silvertip longbow offering.....   :bigsmyl:

Good luck in your search and decision making.Let us know what you decide on.........
