Allen,
That is one beautiful bow!  Sounds like its a shooter too.
Chris

Nook

Hey Allen.  Bo Slaughter told me you kind of grow into the pinecone grip.  The first time I shot one it felt a little uncompfortable after a couple dozen shots.  If you can't get used to it I've got some bondo and a file......  Haaaa

Allen, I'll let my dog chew on her for awhile...he likes pinecones

The "Man Law" thing is if you get something that has to do with archery be it new or 2nd hand.

And you post about it you have to show a pic of it.

Absolutely a gorgeous bow, BUT.... there's something not quite RIGHT about it... let's see... there, I've fixed it for you...

Glad to be of assistance     :archer:

Sweet bow...You will get used to the pinecones.

A.S.

Hey Nook and Paradocs, I was thinking the same things! I guess I just need to toughen up a little bit.

Flatbow, at least some of the other guys will like it better that way.

Arrow Slinga

Looks familiar! Congrats!!  I see you decided to order one! Yours seems to be a little more accurate than mine though lol!!
Todd

A.S.

Todd, thanks again for the pics of your's. I really like the wood combination. How do you like that Great Northern quiver? I'm thinking of getting one.

Tom

Just what we need: Allen with another deadly bow in hand, lol! Congrats on a fine looking/shooting bow-like the woods. The pinecone will smooth out after time or at least you won't notice once the blood stops.
The essence of the hunt for me is to enter nature and observe+ return safely occasionally with the gift of a life taken.

Horne Shooter

Bob makes great stuff and he stands behind it too.

I ordered the new limbs for my Shawnee and hope to see them SOON!  Are you reading this Bob? (lol)
Live every day like its your last, one day you'll be right.

A.S.

Tom, I'll have to get over and shoot with you guys soon.

leatherneck

AS, Bob has some Great Northern Quivers on sale for ,I think, 50.00. I use one on my cheyenne and I love them. Check his web page. The pine cone smooths out in time. Great looking bow!!!

Leatherneck, the shafts are Caron Express Thunderstorm SE's. I think they just discontinued them, they come with the spider web finish. I did the crown dip/cresting.

Thanks for the heads up on the quiver, I'll check Bob's website. Right now I have a Thunderhorn limb bolt quiver. With the short riser, I'm a little concerned about how much arrow is sticking out with the two pieces of the quiver being so close together. I shot with it on today, I'll have to give it awhile to see if it will be ok.

maxwell

Allen, let mw know when its my turn with this bow
The widows want some new company.

Bill

A.S.

Bill, I think that I may need to keep this one for a while! I'll keep you posted though....just in case.

Arrow Slinga

I got my quiver from Bob also, they are a very nice!

straitera

That's a bad looking bow! Whomever whittled that handle should be on top of your Christmas list.
