Adding draw weight to T/D limbs??
« on: December 06, 2008, 05:23:00 AM »
I have a Zona T/D recurve.. It is 56", and 50# @ 28"..

Is there a more economical way to get 70# limbs, other than have new limbs made entirely??

Adding something to the limbs?????????

Thanks, Toot

I'd say you would have to order new limbs.  If you cut them down and inch on each end and built new tips you may gain 8-10#, but thats it.  The performance would change some though, especially on one that short.

I wonder what would happen if you glued a piece of glass to the back of the limbs maybe 0.030"??
