I have been an archer for quite some time and have owned and shot some very good bows. I am presently thinninhg my stable because of my age and no left handed children....I have sold my Black Widow and will sell my fox high sierra takedown but the last recurve to leave after I am gone will be my Ferret. I have sold my Acadian treestick, my morrison dakota longbows and will hang on to my pronghorn and my Massey Longhorn. that's what I think of Herb,s Bows....Mac~

I would never let my ferret go either. If I could i would get another one.

I've been thinking about a back-up go-to bow. In other words, another Pronghorn.  :archer:

Had a 56" one piece that was too much weight for me. Weighed about 14 oz. but still shot with no handshock. Sold it to a friend of mine and he just loves it. Herb makes an awesome bow maybe i'll order a takedown someday.

Well the request for pics was too much.

Kate and myself received our bows late last year and I have posted these before but they are so nice I'm sure you won't mind a repeat

That is an all osage three piece. I received it new from Herb three years ago this May, I believe. It is a great bow. I like the one piece models better than the takedowns. It's all in the grip design.

Herb lived here in Glendive back in the day, & all the trad guys here swear by his bows. Im getting ready to order my 1st so they dont kick me out of the local bow club.HA! HA!

PrarrieDog

Yup, He talks about the Glendive days.
He also supports the bowhunters of Montana as well as the Lost Arrow Archers here in Casper.
He never fails to "step up". But beware,
Buy one and it won't be your last!

Yeah, he supports the MBA & the trad bowhunters of MT. I won the books he donated @ the tbm banquet last month. Definitely need more like him in the trad. community.

Rusty Izatt

Ok, I will play! Here are some I own.

Rusty Izatt

How about some recurves

Rusty Izatt

And some that made there way to new homes after i enjoyed them.

I've just bought my 1st (of many I hope) Pronghorn... a 62" 55@28" takedown, brown diamondwood riser with red elm limbs. After shooting a friend's 66" 65@28" I knew there was only one bow for me...
Pronghorn takedown 55@28"
A&H ACS takedown 50@28" on order

FerretWYO

That is quite the collection rusty.
