Yes Jim, It was the best Holey Hole I've ever been to. We got shot opportunities daily. This particular hog was shot on video. I was shooting vid over Marks shoulder as the hog comes inching forward to see what we were. We'd spotted them along the swamps edge, circled a 1/4 mile to get the wind right and eased in to seal the deal. As we got within about 30 yards, the little begger decided to turn and run towards us unsuspecting. He saw something out of place and ended up like the curious cat-Dead! You should be seeing the Video on cable TV sometime in the future. Other than that, mum's the word. This most certainly isn't the only hog we got on video but I wasn't taking still shots while we video'd so it's all I'll post here. I'll let Mark tell about the bow. I do know it's Yew and it's also not a Brushbow. I can't remember if he was shooting the Traditionalist or Combo Hunter. I also hunted with the bow. CK

Thanks for your comments. The limbs are Yew with bamboo one of my favorites.
Curtis thanks for putting the hunt together and making it a special time.
I really enjoyed the camp life, and spending time with fellow Trad Gangers.
As for the hog this one fell into my arrow just right for a short blood trail.

We did some more Hog vocalization testing on this trip. Mark actually shot a slobbering angry pig as she rushed in to give me a hug and a kiss.  :readit:   Lots of fun with just a touch of excitment. Left me with a wet spot!  :D

Sounds like Bo Bo teaching you all the tricks Curtis. Maybe you could bring him along for the sweat?? We could use him as a decoy! I'll bring a shock collar and we could tie him up to a cactus and hit the button when we need him to squeal!!! The other hogs and the mountain lions should be all over us.
