Well Mudd, I see your new bow did just dandy! Can't wait to see it in person....really want to see the white belly (aged).

Mudd

Tony I am thrilled to hear you were finally able to get a chance to shoot "Morning Sun".

It sounds like you're getting acquainted quickly.

Here are the "brother bows" together.

The road to "Sherwood" makes for an awesome journey.

The Myrtle in the handles came from the same piece of wood -  literally one saw blade width apart.

Nate put identical wraps on them from an elk he shot...a bit of Mountain Mojo there....

Rik

That's not just elk leather, that's Idaho elk leather. Idaho is the wildest, most rugged place south of Canada. Same goes for our elk.

Nate put some SERIOUS MOJO on those bows!

Does anybody have a picture of a HH bow with the CHI CHEN riser wood?  Don't have a clue as to what it looks like.  Thanks in advance.

Tony ... I am actually in love with your bow...

I have the Chi Chen riser and limb tips on a T/D hill, I will post a pic tonight. It's a medium dark  brown wood with some light lines in between growth rings, but its pretty cool. It does not have the character of some premium bacote or myrtle, or at least not as much, but I am sure not all cuts are created equal. I am very pleased with how it looks with yew(male) Limbs on a half breed. It has a dark (carmelized) core of bamboo.

Very nice bows in deed!!!

Tony, what quiver do you have there? Looks about like what I've been looking for in my next quiver.

Just thinking....
Have any of you ever wonderd what Craig would build, if you just gave him your spechs.
And told him to build what he thinks is the best shootin bow....

I know his personal bow is a half breed.

Got my Sunset Hill today! I'm having trouble posting pics I have to figure that out. I thought Hill bows were supposed to be slower than recurves? I'm shooting good at 20 yards but high at 10 yards having to really conciously hold low!

khardrunner

email them to me and I will get them up
