I would like to know what you guys use to remove finish scratches from your fiberglass bows without causing more of them in the process? I have a few older Bear/Pearson recurves that have some scratches on the glass(mostly light and not too deep) and would love to fix them.

Yellow bottle of Scratch Out made by Kit. It's $1.94 at Wal-Mart in the auto care section. WONDERFUL job- just did my 3 last night. Absolutely remarkable.

Get a can Deft clear wood finish and put a light coat on then use some 000 steel wool. It does a great job and drys fast. Put on as many coats on as necessary. This does not waterproof.

Linseed oil and 0000 steel wool.  Rub in with steel wool and wipe down limb with lint free rage to remove the oil afterwards.

Thanks guys. Bill I got to get me some of that Scratch Out stuff. If that doesn't work then I will try Deft or Rottenstone.
