Larry...I got a couple last time out but it's not easy.  They are spooky, for people that never hunted squirrel in the open woodlands during winter it's really hard to imagine especially with a smallbore flintlock, they are not your neighborhood/backyard variety.  What section were you hunting.  Like I mentioned in an earlier post I have been hunting the area by the reservior/powerlines.

Rabbits good eating this time of year.  Very nice.  I'll take squirrel or rabbit meat over venison all the time.

Tom I'm horizontal with heavy lower&middle back spasms since yesterday. I don't think I'll be able to shoot my bow for a week, let alone walk normally. I think Winter in NJ is over for me   :(

Hang in there! We still have just under another month for winter bow here. Rest up and heel yourself. I hope that you are on your feet and feeling better real soon.

By the way the STOS head flys real good off my bow. I just may have to buy some to use next season.

OK Skippy SHHHHH... No work! So being that tomorrow is the last day I can hunt Old Mine Road. I will in fact hunt Old Mine Road.Is anyone interested? Larry how about you and Reiner? Sal, I gotta do this last day on my stomping grounds.But  next Saturday if I don't have to work I would like to share the woods with Eric and you down your way .
