Wow!  Amazing!  Awesome!
These are just a few words that describe some of the very generous donations for the upcoming PBS Banquet thus far.  We can still use more, if you are so inclined.
I just learned of a special "PBS 2008" knife donated by M.S. Jay Hendrickson.  Words cannot do it justice but for starters it has a Curly & Bird's Eye mixed maple handle, it is a clip point hunter and has fine silver inlays of PBS on one side of handle and 2008 on the other side.  It is a beauty!
For more information on the PBS Banquet, email me at bahrnone@insightbb.com or visit our website.  Information can be viewed on the "Traditional Events" section of Tradgang. Or you can email the PBS Office at: probohunters@adelphia.net  or probowhunters@roadrunner.net
Thank you very much to Terry Green for allowing PBS to use the Tradgang forum to generate some more interest in PBS and the Banquet.

Several donated hunts so far:  Dries Visser Safaris has once again made a very generous donation.

Kevin, I just finished sanding the riser on the 48 inch youth take down recurve I am making. I just got on the site because I am waiting for the glue on the tip overlays to harden, so I have a good start. Be sure to look for it, some youngster is going to get a sharp little bow. I pretty much copied the one I had made for my kids, but made the grip smaller. Boy they got a lot of use out of that bow.
Karen is making a cross stitch picture called Wild Wonders for the ladies luncheon. Greg

Long as I can pull this bow
Long as I can hike the hills and walk among the trees
I keep on trying
My goals are high but I don't care
The fun is in the getting there, it justifies the end
So try, try again

Just got an email from John Havard.  He and his partner Larry Hanify have donated one of their ACS longbows for the PBS Sat. nite auction.  Awesome!

AWESOME, Doug!  Looks like this banquet is going to cost me some money, again...better start working some OT I guess.

Monte, that's great!  Looking forward to seeing you there!  I just hunted over the past weekend with my younger brother that has one of your take-downs.

8th Dwarf

I donated a self bow, too.  It shoots really well, so I hope it finds a good home.  PBS is really something special.

I hope some appreciates that Mongolian Ibex horn, it looked like Stevo and I might be doing time in a Mongolian prison for that! Also I think it ended up costing Steve about $20 a pound to get it back!

Doug Campbell

I wasn't going to mention that part Rick  ;)  Course when your a wildman like Steve that's the risk you take traveling to parts unknown  ;)

There will be a Mission flag in display case with a certificate flown in Afganistan.

Donated by Associate member David Darling who has been over there with the 110th Fighter Squadron at Bagram AFB near Kabul loading bombs and ammo on A-10 Warthogs and giving Al-Queda and the Taliban hell with 30mm and 500 pound laser guided munitions.

He will be home to us on the 15th of this month!!!! He has a new little girl named Annie and she is a pure blood 8 week old Plott Hound!!
