Men occasionally stumble over the truth,but most of them pick themselves up and hurry off as if nothing ever happened.

I'm envious of you guys with camps. They are are cool in their own way.   :campfire:

Kirk,

Those are in different parts of Alaska.
I though it looked familiar....i was up there back in 83/84...working and fishing was my thing then....didn't hunt at all that year....I got married in anchorage and did 15 days in the Yukon for our honey moon trip on the way home though....Great place up there...definitely the last frontier.....i'd love to go back and hunt moose with a long bow some day....I still got friends up there.....Kirk

Long, long afterward, in an oak I found the arrow, still unbroke;
And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.

Great pics of some nice camps.  You will have to wait for a pic of ours as we can not get up to it now because to much snow.

Just found out I lost all of my pictures of our cabin when my other computer crashed. Here is a tent camp a fellow hunter and I set up this year. Warm,dry and simple.

Thank you Killdeer!

I just learned how to post the pictures yesterday. My little cabin in Indiana and I'm sure the same can be said for Dan's are fantastic places to get away, but I have to tell you the best part of having my cabin is sharing it with my kids. I have the best hunting memories of my life orginating from that little rustic cabin. Given that I have been to Alaska many times and have hunted all over the US and Canada, that is saying a lot. There is nothing better than spending a long weekend or a week at the cabin with my kids. Best $1500 investment I ever made. Seems I got a pretty good deal on the cabin and 5 acres.
