Ever seen one?

Looking for a pearson pinto one of the multi colored, multi laminate ones from I think the early to mid sixties if you know correct dates please chime in,the kicker is I'd like to have it in a mid fifties weight 53# to 60# that's what I was wondering about has anyone seen one in this weight range ?THANKS in advance for any info.

About all I can offer is to agree with you that these are really cool looking bows.  I have seen a couple.  Wouldn't mind having one myself.  However, I'd go much lower in weight 40-45#.

I've never seen one that heavy but they were made, up to 65# some years. Made from 1960-1969.

That was my first brand spanking new bow. A Pearson Pinto, 66 inch, laminated and 55lbs.

Everyone thought I was nuts in the late 60s for buying such a "heavy" draw.

Was a shooter too.

Here's a 1962 Pinto, 66" and 45X#.  These cool looking bows are not commonly found, but prices are still modest when they show up.  I paid $100 for it a few years ago and recently sold it for $125.

Good picture and prime example, I for sure prefer the multi color like yours but have seen the 2 color mostly light and dark contrast and wouldn't pass one of those up either,THANKS guys,the search continues.

These bows are excellent shooters, I have the same model shown above. I was going to sell it, then shot it again and changed my mind.   Been looking for another since.  

I got mine at a flea market for $15!  Of course, that was about 10 years ago.

I sold or traded a really nice one on the classifieds here several years ago. It was just too heavy for me. Marked 70** lbs. I could not draw it without shoulder pain.

Have you seen the Javelina models from that same era? I regularly see them in the heavier weights (above 50#) more than the lighter ones.

When I saw this nice example (#270761957345) at the big online sale barn recently, I really wanted it. But I wasn't willing to pay the top dollar price. There'll be another one along one day, I'm sure.

I actually have a later model Javelina that's a monster all the way around being 68" long and pulling 54# fairly rare for this bow I'm told it shoots great and draws like butter the riser looks like antique furniture instead of psychedelics though,I like it and the pinto but for different reasons.

I just sold a Pinto a couple of weeks ago. The only thing I didn't care for about mine was the elevated rest..couldn't get used to it.

I've had a Filly for about 20 years. She shoots pretty well for a $20.00 bow.

Arrowwood actually no I'm not sure in fact I'm totally mistaken,I confused my PALAMINO with my buddies javelina so forgive me folks I was in an archery frenzy the javelina is 66" and 50lbs.,my palamino is 68" and 54# still looking for the pinto or any other model pearson has those colors,and specs,thanks for the info and responses denton hill is right around the corner.

Here's the Pinto I want!!!!  I'm not man enough to pull it, especially left handed, but to own this bow!!  Bob Swinehart with his 75# Pinto.  I've got quite a few old Pearsons, but only one Pinto.
