I'm considering these and would appreciate any imput from shooters that have shot one.

-Does the material stick to wood arrows?
-Do they hold up to Broadheads?
-Are they good to shoot broadheads from a tree?
-Arrow removal?

Tall Paul,

I have one and it is an excellent target.

Doesn't stick to wood and it is easy to pull your arrows out.

It holds up well to broad heads and you can shoot at it from any angle since it is pretty much a ball.

I would tell you that if all you shot at it was field tips you would have it for about 10+ years.

My one problem with it is that it is foam and it will go to the land fill.  

My next broad head target will be from Pacific Bow Butts because it is biodegradable.  Might want to check them out too.

There a great Target, and they are guaranted for a year, Butt will last much longer, You have 18 differant sides to shoot....
   Get one you wont be disappointed....

I've also looked at their deer 3d targets online.  Wish we had a dealer around here so I could look at them.

Been slicing mine up with broadheads for about a year and I still have a lot of sides to go through.

How does it compare to a Block, as far as durability with broadheads?

It is a good target. But i shot one out in less than a year with field tips. Granted i shoot a lot of arrows. I was pleased with the target and its arrow removel and its 18 sides.

The best target we have used. I have had mine for about 4 years and it has taken many broadheads. It still does not have pass thru's.  Don't shoot the same place all the time. It has 18 sides,use them all.

Anybody shoot the broadhead buck?

There was a broadhead buck at a large traditional shoot a few years ago in my state. Most times it looked like a porqupine attacked it from all of the arrow sticking in it. I couldnt beleive how well it held up. There must have been thousands of shots in it but it sure didnt show it. It is a little on the small side for size. Probably about a 90-100 lb deer in real life. I do know a place where they have them on line for sale if you want to send me a pm.

I hope I did  good or at least ok because after reading all the pro's, I just bought one.

I found one on sale $87.20 plus $20. shipping. A little feed back would make me feel better about spending $$$$.

I tried to tell myself it was more than a purchase but an investment..lol

They are a good target BUT if you shoot broadheads alot they won't last.  I'm about done with my 2nd in a year.  They made good on the warranty though, just sent them a copy of the receipt and several pic of the target and they shipped another right out.

I would call that amazing customer service.  It doesn't surprise me that constant broadhead shooting would eat it up.

I paid 99.00 plus tax at our local Bass Pro. It's got a couple hundred shots in it now and still likes great.

Same here. I went through 2 in less than a year.  They made good on them, and I got a new one...

Just save your recite and the little red tag in the target that has the code on it, and when you shoot it all up/ if it is less than 12 months old/ a new one will come to your door!

I have used them for the past four years. If you continuosly shoot BH's, it won't make it a year. My big snuffers abuse this target and would wear it out in no time if I persisted in continually praticing with them. This is a very good target. Just bought another one last week.

I love mine.  It is a great take a long target, and the best I have had for tree practice.  I got one in January and pounded it hard.  I just shoot it out a couple weeks ago.  The UPS man dropped my new warrantee replacement off today.  I estimate it to have taken 10,000 shots.  While it will take a good amount of  broad head shooting, they will eat it up in short order if you do a lot.  I shoot Phantoms and the bleeders really pull the target appart.  I shot mostly field tips.  The secrete is the heavy rubber jacket.  The foam inside gets eaten up by shooting it from all sides.  Once that happens and the jacket tears open all the little pieces inside start to spill out.  My target still looked reasonably good two weeks before it was a loose pile on the ground with two sections of cover left in taters.  Shoot all sides even, and try not to get any big holes or tears in it any faster than necessary.  I am going to go back to shooting my feed store grain bag targets more now so the next one will make it through most of the year.

The first pic is about two weeks before the second.  I started on it with some broad heads to tune in a couple bows for next fall and three weeks later....
