Shawn...that woods on the left adjoins my property and it's all huntable.  My neighbor is a dairy farmer and all that land is open to hunting as well.  Not to mention the 10,000 acres of State Game Lands just three miles from my house.

Here's an earlier photo of the same:

And here is the creek bottom that borders my woods:

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

Goodbye Shiner you were always a good dog.

You got that right George! Beautiful.

Here are the views from my back door..

facing south

Facing north

and facing west..30 steps from the back door and I am in the woods hunting. Believe it or not at 1:20 (16 mins ago) when I stepped out the door to take these pics there was a heavy bodied buck walking on the upper trail travelling north to south another 30 steps inside the woodsline you see in this pic. He was down by that black spot in the center of the pic. Guess  I should be in a tree instead of at this keyboard huh? LOL

Here is one out my backdoor:

Followed by one from the side of my house.

It is usually white this time of the year.
The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.
