Yes I have a Wing (White Wing) with a Bear Brush rest and also a Bear Temajin with a brush rest .
I have 5 Howatts and a 1959 Kodiak Special with feather rests.
All the feather rests I have on my Howatts were built by "Trap" here and he makes the best I have seen .
The feather rests he makes can be found at several sponsor's here like Big Jims ,3 Rivers, Kustom King if you are in need of any.

Forgot to mention the brush or bristle style rests I have seen are made by Para rests and I do believe 3 Rivers are carrying those now but not certain.

My 3-D bow uses a TRAP feather rest. Hunting bow uses a sealskin rest.

I now use both. Mostly brush rest since 1972 on my recurves. My new 62 reproduction from Vintage Works now has a feather rest. Actually I am impressed with it. Trap makes a great product!
Tuning is so much easier with a rest for me. Also I can use vanes when I want.
I had one brush rest fail about 1989 I think. It was on my 80# BW MA, using 2419 arrows. Only "mod" I have done is replace the two sided tape with 3M double sided tape for outdoor use. Our 100 degree heat turns the ordinary tape to goo!

Make your own with a toothbrush. Many different stiffness in bristles. I now have a longbow and recurve with them. Quiet, forgiving and tunable. Bandsaw and sander for a great fit, double sticky tape. The trim to have the tall side opposite the riser to keep the shaft in place while walking.
I have not shot vanes-will try it

Pararest in the broadhead cutout of my Groves spitfire, disturbing how any arrow flies out of it.

I have a feather rest on a couple bows. They are great. Both made by Trap.

Couldn't get my Holcomb Fifty Niner and Drake arrows to fly well no matter what i did.
Put on Trap's feather rests and achieved perfect arrow flight!

If you ever try one of Traps feather rests you will notice a slight taper that will keep the arrow on and against the shelf plate.
Just a great feather rest and not real big.
He puts a lot of little extras in the way he builds them and I have yet found any sort of problem with any of mine and I have bought about 8 or 10 now for many bows . My 59 Kodiak has original on it and Traps look very close to how they were made back then.
I never met Trap or know him But he makes a great feather rest that's for sure.

I use Trap's feather rests on a lot of my vintage recurves with flat shelves. They work great.

Got a new make 59 Kodiak. They come with the feather rest. The first time I used a father rest. like it. I ordered 3 to put on my other bows.
The only negative is if you would walk with an arrow on the string you probably wouldn't want to wrap your finger onto the shaft to keep in in place, you could smash the feather rest.
