Ill give the nod to a boonie, the full flexible bill is never in the way, shades my eyes from the sun and maintains a constant profile even when I turn my head from side to side looking for game.  Of course I dont worry so much about what I look like while stopping off to Wally World or a nice restaurant or any other place for that matter but thats just me I guess.
Hunt fair, hunt hard, no regrets.

Mossy Oak Boonie... I do have to pin the bill up over my right eye so it doesn't touch my bowstring.

I don't think there will be a need for a hat this year...
Is fall here yet???

This is my favorite. Its an Akubra "Territory" from Australia. Waterproof and comfortable.
A little spendy but I wear it everyday and after 4 years it still is as good as new. I trimmed the brim a little so it dosen't hit my string.

I hunt southern Arizona every January and it's mostly sunny, so I wear a big brim cowboy hat.

I wear a Jones style I got when I was 13 and it in treebark pattern, I'm now 35 so if you can guess where that hats been...

Tom Leemans

I miss my old Jones style "duck huntin'" cap. I remember when everyone was wearing those.

In milder weather I wear a crushable felt, camo colored safari style hat.

In cold weather I wear a camo Mad Bomber hat. The warmest hat I ever wore.

I have to get me one of those camo Stormy Kromer's too...those look good.

I bought my felt hat off noggintops. They have a good selection of different fedora style hats. When I bought mine a couple years ago you could return it within 30 days if you didn't like it or it didn't look good on you. They're prices are good too.

Just something to look at if you were interested in something like that.

I ordered a Filson storm cloth fowler hat. The only problem is they said it would not be ready until Jan. I think it has something to do with the fact I'm a fat head.

You are not alone with the Filson.  One of my winter hunting hats is a Filson Mackinaw and my winter daily wear is an original Tin Hat.  My fall hunting hat has dissappeared from the market and I am desperate to find a new one - if anybody has a B-Bar-H wool felt crusher in gray camo and XL you could get name your price!

I just ordered a wool Jones from LL Bean. You can't beat wool and the prices are awesome.

Noggintops.com  I bought three different hats and had a miss communication on the order (brim was too short on one hat)and they took back no problems!  They had great service and competitive pricing.  I bought a camo wool crushable fedora on close for Under $20.  It saved my bald head last November in an Idaho blizzard.  Brim on it is a little wide and I should have and could have had them trim it, but didn't.  Also, they had hats that fit my big head.

When it is cool enough I wear a felt crusher that I havehad for 30 years. When it is hot I have a couple of short breamed ball caps

Filson here, "might as well have the best" is their logo, I agree!  My Filson has a shorter brim and I can also push it down or up and it forms well.  They are stiff when new but after a couple years all my friends are jealous.
