I have the old version myself, but wouldn't mind to see the differences in em. If he can make an absolute great seat better, I'm all about it!

So, did you get yours Bryan?
If so, what is your verdict?

Bill Turner

Great seat for the mobile hunter. Have used mine for several years. A little taller than the original, which I own, would be nice. Buy with confidence.

Just got it last week.  It's awesome.  Very light.  Easy fold and unfold to use.

No assembly required like on my Magnus rack pack.

I don't have pictures of mine but like it a lot. I bungee cord a pack to the back of it. Takes 2 seconds and I'm off to the farm

I have three of them and use them every year in moose camp in Alaska.  They are the best, most comfortable and lightest-weight camp chair I've ever found.  If there's a better, lighter-weight one out there for flying in I don't know about it.  You won't regret getting one for yourself.

I'd like to see a picture also.

I emailed you back with a couple pictures. There are a lot of pictures of the pacseat if you google it under images. There you can see how different guys have modified it to suit their style of hunting.

Bryan,

If you don't mind me asking...
What was the total cost, with shipping, for the seat?

160 when I bought mine I think. Worth every penny. Just tennis ball those front pegs.

I wanna say 189.00 or 215.00

I'll need to review my checkbook when I get home from work this evening.

A chunk of change either way, but I'll use it for camping, fishing(bank and ice), turkey hunting, deer hunting, etc.

Right now I use my Magnus rack pack for all of this.  I like my RP, but it requires a bit of assembly that is tough to be quiet with.  The Waldrop is no assembly required.  Just fold out the seat  and rear legs.  Quiet and silent.  It'll get alot of use from me.

I've had mine for a couple of years now. It's quiet and super portable.  Best seat I have.  The other nice thing is that I can put it on my back and strap my haversack to it or extra clothes and use it like a pack frame. I added a thin 1" foam cushion to mine to make long sit's even nicer. The foam cushion is hinged with webbing and it just sits right in the folded up seat when carrying.  These seats are a good INVESTMENT. Well made and will last.

One other trick I have done with mine; I attached a piece of netting with zip ties to the bottom, folding back leg. When I walk in to my hunting spot I fold that leg all the way up yo the meet the top crossbar. This gives me a large mess pocket that I can stuff with extra clothes, decoys, equipment, etc.
