My wife bought me a Ghost Blind for Christmas, but let me have it early. So in the morning I'm taking it out for the first test run. Last time I was where I'm going to take it I had a close encounter with a small buck but he was too far out for a comfortable shot with my stick. I put the buck in the freezer 2 weeks later 300yds away but not a story I can tell here. But I've seen two other bigger bucks and a ton of does in the area.

Actually, the last time I was standing in a small stock pond when the lil guy came to the feeder just before dark straight down wind. This time I'll be on a slight rise above the pond/feeder.

Well, how did it go this morning?

I hope you smacked one!

I can attest that they work. They had one setup at our sporting goods store and I walked right into it.

I hope you put it to good use this morning!

I just bought one a couple weeks ago, going to try it out in the morning.

My dad has had success with one. They are pretty cool!

Honestly I didn't get a chance to go out till a few minutes ago. Sitting in it now. Right at 22yds to the feeder and it still has a little bit of corn in it. I have my PSE Legacy and my Blackhawk.41, it'll be a game time decision if it happens tonight. Have one small buck with the stick and only 2 coups de gras shots with the wheel gun. Since already filled my rifle buck tag any antlers means stick time.

It worked great. While I didn't see any deer I did have tons of squirrels and dove around me. Many within yards. Nothing was able to figure out I was there. I'm going to use this thing extensively from now on.

I like mine. Haven't got to use it a whole lot, but I've had a couple close encounters with it already. One little buck walked literally within a few feet and never knew I was there. Good luck!!

Putting things in front of the ghost blind makes it that much more effective like the above pic demonstrates. The only issue I have with mine is trying to find a flat spot on the hillsides that I hunt

Ted, The Ghostblind is 4 reflective panels that set up to reflect what's in front of it. Do an Internet search for pics and videos.
Do not follow where the path may lead.  Go, instead, where there is no path and leave a trail.

Going to take mine back out this next week. Good news is ive got a whole week off, bad news is it's two weeks till the next set afterwards.  I've got a photo bucket account but have never used it. May have to start uploading some pix. Even took some in B&W to see a "deer's eye view."

That's pretty amazing, I may have to get one of those!

How is it to pack around? Some of my spots are over a mile through the woods.
