Anyone have a picture of the new in-line arrow gripper Great Northern now offers?  I'd like to see one mounted and see it full of arrows?

I'd also like to see some of their new hood colors actually mounted.  Just curious.

Now you have my attention!  I really like great northern quivers but hate having those two arrows in back of the standard model...

Just found good pictures on their facebook page.  I feel an order in my future.

I feel the same way Brad - like the functionality of their quivers, but have never been a fan of their looks.  I was hoping someone out there has gotten one and has a photo of how is lays out.

Looks pretty good, may have to try one.

With the standard gripper, the inner arrows become my #1 and #2. The forward is #1; I can get it out and on the string easily when on stand.  If I miss and need #2, the aft inside arrow comes out between the string and bow and on to the shelf with less movement than the outer arrows.  Took me a while and some trials to figure this out.

That is flat out awesome! That was one of the ONLY reasons I did not like the GN quivers I had.  The craftsmanship is awesome!

Glad to see them listening to customers.  I have spoke to many like minded folks.

Thanks for posting that Bisch - it looks good!  Couple that new gripper with the kick-back option and it might be my next quiver.

I'm going to call next week and get an order going.  I'll report back when I have it in hand.

I like it!!! But... I'll stay with my old GN thank you.
The front 3 arrows, are my 1st, 2nd & 3rd shots... I figure, 3 strikes, I'm out!!! The 2 back arrows, are just to replace lost or broken ones.
I only shoot WOOD arrows... My kid makes them, fast as I can break them!

I'm with Woodchucker on this. However, I would like opinions on whether the new in line has as much fletch clearance as the original.

That's the biggest noise maker, when your fletching vibrates against another feather when you shoot.Always have to rotate some arrows so they do not touch at the shot.

I am a GN fan since 1990s,think I will stay with the old gripper, will be more compact bundled up.Think it is a great addition to a great product, will be getting some for stock.

The main reason I run a GN is because I like the 5 arrow configuration; 3 on top & 2 on bottom. I do like some of the new leather colors and combinations.

God bless.

I've got one on order, I'll keep you posted.

I already have two of the "old" style.  New looks good. However, I use one of the back holders for my "on stand" arrow. I also loosen one of the front 3 for a back-up.

But if I was in market, I'd get the new one.

Biathlonman

Quiver just arrived and I'm really liking it so far.  Ordered a kickback extreme adjustable, long horsehide.  Only small complaint is I ordered black and got a dark brown, but I have a can of leather dye here so it's a non-issue.  Bow in photo is a Treadway black swamp longbow.
