quiver

I am going to try and hunt with quiver attached to my bow for the first time. I was always told that the extra weight , coupled with the extra flash of the arrows in a tree was not desirable. I see that the majority of trad guys hunt with a quiver attached to the bow, and that i should practice with it attached, problem is after a dozen or so practice shots broadheads are slipping down from quiver sheath.Does any any one know how I might resolve this arrow slide?

What type quiver?

I don't use any mounted quiver, just a catquiver or side quiver.  I think you will find a 50/50 split on shooting with it on or off.

Are you using carbons in a large gripper designed for wood?

Could be a few things, if quiver is a bit loose the vibration could be working your arrows out, maybe gripper is too big like mentioned above, other than that the first thing that comes to mind is your foam is worn out around your BH but since you said its a new quiver, not likely.

I have a thunderhorn small boa 4 arrows I cary 3
  My arrows are carbon express Heritage 150s with a .500 spine and shooting a TallTine 45# @28

With that set up extra weight should be minimal ... be sure you are pushing your BH's far enough into the foam and check the fit of the rubber grippers. CE are 5/16" and if you had grippers for wood arrows they could be too big. If your quiver is a strap on model be sure it is attached tight to the bow, if a bolt on be sure your angles for the top and bottom are correct and inline ....

If the grippers are too big, you can remedy the situation by weaving a rubber band from one opening to the next.  Or, might buy some small rubber O rings at the hardware store and slip them over the gripper nubs, one per arrow opening.
