Seriously guys, how do you clean the leaves out of your gutters?????
Seriously?!?! Did you not read the post directly above yours? A guy broke his leg from a fall from a broken strap and you make a comment like that? Nice.

Well, I have reached the point that my doctor told me to stay off ladders, so no, I don't clean my own gutters anymore. I pay a younger guy to climb up and do it. Cheaper than a broken neck.

So I tried to get up in a  tree stand recently.  I was ok until I got to the top and had to stand and turn around to be seated.  I know I was safe once I was hooked on, but for some reason I froze-I believe it has to do with balance issues I have, I was surprised at how afraid I was and how much I felt like I was going to fall.  Gonna hunt this weekend out of a brush blind.  Be safe everyone.  Thanks for all the info in this thread.  I am determined to conquer this fear and someday soon hunt out of a tree stand.

Lady, you are not alone.  Start with low stands and work higher from there at a comfortable pace.  You can brush in low stands and make them very effective.
