This was an excellent recap. Great color and imagery. I know the exhausted, dehydrated after a blood trail feeling. We've got nasty brush that the pigs tunnel through in South Texas. Your story reminds me of how I feel after any less than perfect shot..

Thanks for all the kind words. I will be ordering proper arrows very soon. Its hard since I discovered my real draw is just over 31 inches and now my bow is pulling just under 60(I think) So i'm having a hard time finding arrows that are stiff enough for the tune that I want...11-12 GPP with high FOC
