My buddy and I started trad about the same time,with this being our second season with sticks.After a pair of dis hearting misses ,one on a hog,and one on a pretty nice buck,he made meat!When I called him,I thought he would be coming in from work,but something sounded funny in his voice.He had just sent an arrow down range toward a doe,but said the faiding light prevented him from seeing the arrow strike,but he had high hopes!Man was he pumped!He thought he heard her crash,so he backed out and waited an hour.He called me back and he was even more pumped up now!After returning he didn't find the arrow right away,but the woodsman had left him plenty of blood to follow.After a quick 40yrd tracking job he was rewarded with his first big game critter with his stick!About 17yrds,quartering away,double lung!
