Hey all.

I have a 48 pound, 66 inch Dave Johnson longbow. I am doing a bit of tuning and trying to get my arrows flying just right and I'd like to know what brace height you all recommend for it.

Also, what kind of a nock position have you found to work best for your setup?  I am shooting aluminum arrows, 500 spine Gamegetter 2 and 2016 Easton Tribute.

Thanks

Hi Nalajr,

I have my brace height on my DJ longbow set at 6 1/2", but I would say 6" to 6 1/2".  I have nock height set at 1/2".

BowZen

Dave recommends 5-3/4" but I like mine at 6-1/4"

Nala

Thanks guys.

I have mine right under 6 1/2". I might try it at a lower brace and see how it does.
