Terrible news. Izzy and I had talked of him coming out to Wyoming to hunt sometime, and we had private discusssions about police work. I'm very sad to hear such awful news.

I did not know Izzy other than here on this site.  Loved his posts.  Makes me think of a verse, Psalm 103:15-16.

As for man, his days are like grass;
he flourishes like a flower of the field;
for the wind passes over it, and it is gone,
and its place knows it no more.

my heart goes out to his family.
"Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD And whose trust is the LORD. Jeremiah 17:7

"There is a way which seems right to a man,
But its end is the way of death."  Proverbs 14:12

How tragic and sad. I was fortunate enough to meet him and his cousin Ray at Hog Heaven, heckuva a nice guy. Prayers for his family.

Izzy made these arrows for me, "just because", and sent them as a gift. He was a friend that I never got to meet in person, and I know he was a devoted family man. So sorry.

My heart and prayers go out to the family.
For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people's sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation.

Horrible news.  Prayers for the family.

RIP my brother I never knew!....but no doubt would have loved. By reading your posts I can tell you had a good heart and soul.

I'm saddened to hear this.  Izzy was a pleasure to talk with, and will be missed.  My thoughts are with his family.

It makes the heart heavy to hear something like this.  So quick.  We should all hug the ones we love a little tighter tonight.
I had always hoped to meet that guy and share a camp with him.  Damn.  Prayers for his family.   Can we put him up top??

Words can not express what I'm feeling right now . Izzy was such a great person I was fortunate enough to have hunted with him and ran into him at several shoots. He loved everything traditional and had a heart of gold. I know your in a great place now and you certainly left your mark here my brother .

Very Very Sad. Never met him but felt like I partially knew him, like many others, from this site. R.I.P.

So sorry to hear this. Shared camp with him hunting pigs at Hog Heaven had a great time and great memories. It leaves me kind of numb. Thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
