Very sad news, I was talking to him this weekend about an upcoming trip we were going on.  He was a great guy and will be deeply missed.

I met Izzy at Solana and at ETAR a couple of times.

Don't meddle in the affairs of dragons; people are crunchy and taste good with ketchup.

I met Izzy at the first Bunny hunt my son and I went to, over the years I talked with him at some hunts and at some trad shoots we attended. He would always come over to say hi and talk he was a great guy. The picture below is of him and his son when I first met him. Prayers to our Lord to heal the scars that this will leave on his family.

Made a post that I was gonna delete, but it disappeared.  Just as well.  RIP, Izzy.  I hope that your son will be comforted by those closest to him.

R.I.P. Izzy.   I will keep you and your family in my prayers.

I remember "Izzy" from Solana and I always enjoyed his post on TG. Great guy. A real asset to this community. Another life cut short. God Bless you my friend.

Sam McMichael

Like many, I only knew him through his posts. We are all very saddened by this loss. Prayers are offered, especially for his surviving son. RIP.

I was stunned to see this.Met and spoke with him at many of the JLMBH bunny hunts...he would always bring his sons with him and help them along.Last time I saw him we had bumped into each other in the parking area at Whittingham and had a good talk on the way in.He was a good and thoughtful man and I won't soon forget him.

Life's too short and we never know when our number is up.Prayers sent to him and all of the Roman family.

Only knew Izzy through his posts, some classified transactions, and a few p.m.'s regarding kitty hunting.  That said, as gathered by others in previous posts he was held in high regard.  Unfortunately, we have lost one of the goods ones.

An arrow and a prayer will be loosed this weekend in his honor.
The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.
