Nice pictures guys.

Tracy, That is a ladder.  Its the only picture of a  person so I am hopeful he was just passing through.  They do a  lot of land management here too, they mowed my old honey hole. its all gone....  He could be a  volunteer counting bugs or trees or something.

This spot is on public land and there are so many tree stands/hunters on the property, it can make you want to puke,  but if you can hold your lunch in and pattern the hunters, you will find the deer.

In that particular spot, I had  pictures of does each morning which is what I expected, but I also expect it to get better a couple weeks after season opener.  The area most of the guys hunt I believe will push the deer here. The tracks last winter were quite heavy immediately after season close.

Out of 4 spots I've only got one camera up. Lots of does, a spike and some hogs. No big bucks yet, but they normally don't show up on camera here until October or so. Not sure why. I've killed several nice bucks at this spot over the years, and never had a pic of one until at least October. I'm thinking this spike would make a nice first trad kill for me, and the hogs get to be such a problem here that I'll kill them anyway I can anytime I can. Probably setting a few traps this week.

Whip

I am pretty sure that this is a buck that I recognize from the past couple of years.  If it's him, he's at least 4 1/2, maybe 5 1/2 years old now.  He's always been wide, but lacked tine length.  This year his mass has taken a jump.  Still not extremely long tines, but I like him!  Based on ear position in the first pic I'm guessing maybe 20" or more inside spread?

Have a few nice bucks this year and plenty of does for the bonus antlerless tag.  Looking through many pictures in detail, we have three different mainframe 12 pointers with some various stickers, etc, and some nice 10's and a couple good 8's.  Here's a sample:

This is an 807 acre property that is leased by 7 of us, though two of us have it to ourselves for all of early and late bow season as well as late muzzleloader.  The others only hunt a nine-day shotgun season.
