He was 18.5" inside and 22" outside. 195 pounds dressed. I rough scored him at about 120"ish. But I've never measured a deer in my life. I'll have it scored after the 60 days. The Michigan record for a six point is 133.5" (or so I was told).

Very nice buck indeed. Congrats. If he bedded 20 or so yards from where you shot/last saw him, he was probably hit very hard though. A half hour, hour wait would likely have still found him piled up right where you did. Regardless, probably better to err on the side of caution. Well done.

That's not just a great 6 point, that's a terrific buck. Congratulations! I love watching a good dog work; I'm pretty sure that little guy is as proud as you are of that deer. Great job!
