I've been getting the itch lately you all know.
I've been thinking about a new Caribow Featherhorn. I'd like some input/experiences on Caribows if you have them.

I have had four Caribows .. a Peregrine LB, a Slynx LB, a 64" Taiga recurve and a 62" Silver Fox LB.

All have been great shooters and excellent craftsmanship. I sold the Peregrine and Slynx when I dropped in weight. I still have the Taiga and the Silver Fox, they are my go to bows. I have owned LOTS of bows and these are as good as any. Great performance, I really like Abe's riser design, it fits me well and the Taiga is the best riser fit of any bow I have owned. He no longer makes that model I believe. Solid hunting bows for sure.

Like anything involving personal preference it would be good if you could try one out. Some bows that folks here go on and on about did nothing for me but it was fun trying them out.

Good luck to you

I have a tuktu static tip and really like it. Best craftsmanship I have seen in a bow. Abe's grips are my favorite so far.

I also have a Tuktu Recurve in Bocote. I love it, you can't beat Abe's craftmanship.

The Peregrine is well-crafted and fast.  Abe builds a fine bow.

great shooting bows.  Tutu EX is in my top 5 recurve I've shot.  They are very nicely made also, very similar to a Toelke.

58" Two Tracks Ogemaw
60" Toelke Chinook
62" Tall Tines Stickflinger
64" Big Jim Mountain Monarch

I have a couple as well. A tuktu and a Silverfox. Excellent bows all around. I'm also on the list for a TD featherhorn.

Love my two-piece featherhorn.  I will one day add another cari-bow to the rack, perhaps a wolverine.  The grip is simply superb!  naturally pointing and repeatable.

My Silverfox 62",54#@28" ,Longbow was with me all hunting season. As said prior the riser just fits me. (Perfectly) . Shoots great if I do what I'm suppose to.

Thanks for all the info.
I just got off the phone with Abe.
I'm going for it!!!!
The wife won't notice another one mixed in on the rack. There's only 12 there now and they are lonely.

I've owned/shot the Tuktu ex, Wolverine, Slynx and Peregrine.  My "go to" bow is my 2pc Slynx.  They are fast, quiet, beautiful and the grip is great.  I'm always staring at Abes website and have the itch to buy another.....just can't decide what I want.
